I have a tuarus model 94, and it is a good gun. It shoots ok (not super accurate but I'm to blame for some of that) However it does have a timeing issue (somtimes) It has only happened twice. when the cylender didn't line up and it failed to fire. It has not done it in the past 3 months and I cleaned it really good. Should I send it back to the factory for a check up? It has a lifetime warranty.

Yes I'd advise you to send it back to the factory for a service check.

Anytime a revolver cylinder is out of sync you should send it to a competent gunsmith to check it out. I do not own a Tarus so I am not clear on thier warranty, but a gunsmith would be able to help you out with that also. The inherent danger in what you are experiencing is the possibility of the weapon firing while not lined up with the chamber. This could cause injuries in several ways. Get it checked out before firing it again.

Timing is a serious issue....call the factory TODAY and do not shoot that gun.

Taurus has an unlimited lifetime repair policy, use it.

    1. Go to the website
    2. Read the policy and procedures
    3. Fill out the Work Order and get your WO number.
    4. Ship to Taurus in Miami per the instructions, using your WO#.
